As I mentioned in the previous blog post (here), I don’t want to lose the things that I am most passionate about. And one of the things I am most passionate about is TV & film.
As if that wasn’t already obvious.
So today, I am going to share with you guys five YouTube channels that I would love to be on… Now I know some people may say that YouTube is not really considered a TV show, but in a way it is.
Many YouTube channels have so much content that they literally label their videos as episodes. SO… case and point. YouTube channels are TV shows… at least to me.
Now, these are not in any particular order, I’m literally going by what came to my head first. So let’s begin.
Chicken Shop Date
Chicken Shop Date is hosted by Amelia Dimoldenberg on a self-named YouTube Channel.
I literally found this YouTube channel in the past year and I love it. Amelia Dimoldenberg goes on multiple “dates” with different celebrities in one of the most random places you can go on a first date… you guessed it, a chicken shop. Between Amelia’s dry and awkward humor and the guest usually not knowing exactly how to respond, I love watching. I would love to go on a chicken shop date on this show because I love dark humor. My dark humor, paired with her dry humor, would make for one funny episode.
Hot Ones
Hot Ones is hosted by Sean Evans on the First We Feast YouTube Channel.
I have been watching Hot Ones for years now. I love it! It is a show where Sean Evans interviews celebrities while they eat wings that get progressively hotter with each wing. I’m OBSESSED. First of all, I love wings and I love spicy food. It’s a win-win. Now do I think I would be a champion and get through them without crying? Probably not. But I would most certainly try!
*S/N I literally just found out and bought the chicken wings that they now have in Walmart, yesterday. I haven’t tried them yet, but I will definitely let y’all know how I like them! I found them online here too if you want to try them.*
BuzzFeed Video
BuzzFeed Video is a YouTube Channel that has multiple hosts.
Now when I say I want to be on BuzzFeed Video, I specifically mean the videos with food. I would say a specific series on there but there are multiple food series on their channel. And I would like to partake. I love food! I will gladly be a taste tester or food-maker. Whichever one they have available. But besides the food, I like the fact the channel overall has a variety of topics… sort of like Let’s Get To The Good Part. 🙂 Hey, Buzzfeed! Call ME!
Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix
Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix is hosted by Tia Mowry.
Speaking of food… I have to get on this show just so I can try a meal made by Tia. First of all, I’ve loved watching Tia Mowry since I was a little girl. Her most infamous role was when she played Tia Landry on the hit TV sitcom, Sister, Sister. But now, in reality, Tia’s a mom, a business owner, and what seems to be a great cook. Her elevated cereal bars made it to my grocery list too because I love to eat something sweet! So Tia, if you ever see this, I would like a plate. Please and thank you.
T and Coco
T and Coco is hosted by Terell Grice and Coco Jones on the Terell Grice YouTube Channel.
I’m telling you right now, we would have a time! A fun time! T & Coco is a YouTube channel that follows two best friends who have both cooked and experienced new things together. They are hilarious! A very dramatic duo. That is why I believe that I would fit right on in. Now, I will say I would NOT be jumping out of any planes. (Watch the first ep of season 2). But I will cook a lil something or do a cute little science experiment with them. It would be great! One of my favorite episodes is them at the haunted house because honestly, same.
Final Thoughts
If any of these shows are ever looking for a volunteer… I’m your girl! Have your people call my people. (The answer is yes, I’d love to come on your show.) That would definitely be a good part of my life!
